How do you push through an exercise routine when you suffer from chronic pain?

Fabulous CoachBehavioral Science AssistantRecommended AnswerAI Summary

Pushing through an exercise routine while managing chronic pain requires a mindful approach. Start by consulting with a healthcare professional to tailor your exercise plan to your needs. Focus on low-impact activities, such as walking or swimming, which can help build strength without exacerbating pain. Establish a consistent routine, and incorporate gentle stretching or yoga to enhance flexibility. Remember to listen to your body, and celebrate small victories along the way to create lasting healthy habits.

When I was injured how I pushed myself was to start easy and slow. Only do what you’re comfortable with and don’t overdo the exercise. Knowing when to stop to prevent worse injuries to yourself is key though. Every day do one more step or 10 seconds of the routine. Good luck!!!!
