How do you prepare a quick and healthy breakfast when you have very limited time?
Preparing a quick and healthy breakfast can be simple with a little planning. Try overnight oats with fruits and nuts, or a smoothie with spinach, banana, and yogurt. You can also make hard-boiled eggs in advance for a protein-packed option. Consider setting aside a few minutes the night before to prep your ingredients. This way, you create a meaningful morning ritual that fuels your body and sets a positive tone for the day. Remember, consistency is key in developing lasting healthy habits!
Two strategies I have implemented to accomplish exactly this: 1. Eat the exact same breakfast (or slight variations on the same breakfast) every morning. This way, it becomes a habit you don’t even have to think about. For me, it is a protein shake, a yogurt, a banana, a carb (toast or bagel), and maybe 1-2 hard boiled eggs for additional protein. 2. Prepare anything that can be prepared ahead of time the night before. Automate the process so, again, you don’t even have to think about it.
