How do you motivate yourself to work out when you’re emotionally tired from the office?
Motivating yourself to work out after a long day at the office can be challenging, especially when you’re emotionally tired. Start by setting a specific time for your workout, treating it as an important appointment. Create a ritual that signals it’s time to exercise, like changing into workout clothes or playing energizing music. Focus on the immediate benefits, like improved mood and energy, rather than long-term goals. Remember, even a short workout can be effective, so prioritize consistency over intensity.
As I do WFH workout must be done because without it my body won’t survive daily long time grinding at a laptop screen. I start out with strech, I strech everyday even if I don’t want to or will workout. It sets the mood for working out slowly and once I’m in the rhythm I just go with the flow.
