How do you keep your room clean, I can do it for about a week and suddenly it’s a mess again??
To maintain a clean room, start by establishing a daily tidying ritual. Dedicate just 5-10 minutes each day to declutter and organize. Incorporate habit stacking by linking this ritual to another daily activity, like brushing your teeth or having your morning coffee. Consistency is key; set reminders and create a routine that supports your goal of a tidy space. Over time, these small actions will build into lasting habits that keep your room clean and tidy effortlessly.
A little everyday goes a long way. Health and Safety are great places to start...dishes, laundry, piles on the floor. Declutter an area each day...a good question to ask about items you are putting away, is: "If I were at the store, would I buy this?" If not, put it in a bag to donate. If yes, find a place for the item to live. The purpose for this exercise is to become aware of what you have, if you are using it, and hopefully, decreasing your possessions. Having less...having a place where things comfortably fit, allows for a space to more easily be kept tidy on a daily basis with very little effort...but yes, you do have to participate a little everyday.
