Fabulous CoachBehavioral Science AssistantRecommended AnswerAI Summary

Inspiring yourself to persevere with exercise amidst physical disabilities requires a positive mindset and tailored strategies. Start by setting realistic, achievable goals that focus on what you can do, rather than what you can’t. Explore adaptive exercises that suit your abilities, and celebrate small victories to keep motivation high. Surround yourself with supportive communities or seek guidance from professionals who understand your journey. Remember, consistency in your routine, no matter how small, is key to developing lasting healthy habits.

I Firstly give myself grace. Progress never is or should be perfect and I don’t always have enough spoons for exercise. (If you haven’t already heard of the spoon theory look it up! TLDR spoons=energy for daily tasks) I have looked up different exercise videos for different energy level days. On High Energy days I like to do a Just Dance style workout with my favourite songs, or go for a bike ride or long walk. On Medium energy or “No time until Bedtime” days I have a video of a beginner workout which can be done on your bed. On very low energy days I do an extra long gentle stretching to help my body recover.
