For me unfortunately and honestly, it has been driven by a bit of vanity. Like anything else you need to go long enough to develop the habit. I go early A.M. so I don’t have the excuses of being too tired or other things coming up. If the day is bad at least I did accomplish something that day. Like many things- social events, church service or exercise- after forcing myself to go in spite of my reservations or preference to just relax or veg, I almost always am glad I did it. Join a class at the gym or find a workout partner to hold you accountable. I also believe at least for me, I do better at a gym versus at home workout or workout/yoga via video. Getting up and getting out and getting there is part of the process!
Good Luck!
