How do you find motivation when you don’t want to exercise?

Mateo U.
I rarely don’t want to exercise, but I would think that the best motivation is to first put your workout clothes on, pick something you want to listen to and head to the gym!

In this situation, I try to think about the purpose of exercising.
And I get a reward for exercising, and I start with light exercise.

Remind myself it is better to keep exercise a habbit, to keep it consistent, which will make it easier for me to exercise

Enjoy your body, do things that you love; while you are active you will feel better with yourself and eventually fat will disappear

Well, if you’re not a fan of exercising, cause not everyone is(you’re not alone😂)”. I personally don’t think that I’m exercising, but just makin that a part of my daily routine. What motivates me towards that routine everytime then? Well, I personally love listening to music! Literally my everything❤️ I make that a part of my exercising routine, by putting on a song, get into the mood and dance my way to my fitness room. And bang, your energy is on fire, finally ready to do a quick little workout🔥 What I’m tryin to say is that, avoid relating exercise as a painful and awful routine, just add whatever you like doin, into your fitness journey as you can associate exercising as a good and joyful habit💕 good luck love✨

I scan my body after I wake up. I take note of how my body feels. If I feel sluggish then I know – I know it's time to get up and start. I get out of bed and do a few stretches. And then I'm good to go. Start small though. Don't overdo it. Be kind to your body. Your body is there for you to carry you through this world and life. Don't be mean to it.

When it is a short exercise. My routine is 20 minutes long and i can't talk myself out of that especially when i know i will feel better having done it. I also walk a ton and have a coffee while doing so. It's something i look forward to
Marissa Z.
Hmm I push myself because this part is more on your brain and mental wise. I tell myself that the process is always tough and I should always persevere

Honestly, it’s really hard for me to motivate myself to exercise sometimes. I have to-do lists but I never do the hard stuff(I’m working to make myself better now though).
I have a friend who sometimes exercises with me and holds me accountable. Having a friend who makes you do things is a great way to make yourself do anything really!

I think about why I am exercising and I push myself to do it even if your goal is to stay fit or to exercise to be less stressed

It's hard for me to find motivation to do anything in my life, I'm actually being part of the Fabulous community to get constantly inspired by them, and it's being kind of easy to get up in the mornings and knowing that I have some things established to do, things that will encourage me to be persistent and constant with a healthy and productive rutine for my day to day.

I wake up, I drink water, eat a small healthy breakfast, wash my face with a "morning face wash" because it has ingredients to naturally wake you up and leave you feeling refreshed. That's when I stretch and then do my workout routine.

Health is wealth. All entrepreneurs are doing exercise to sharpen the mind and fit the body. If body is fit then brain also activated. If you don't exercise, fat will be stored in your body.

I start thinking why can't i exercise, is there any problem? But i always end up that there are no difficulties that are stopping me from working out. That is the moment when i tell myself that i am strong and can do anything that i want to do

I read a lot, usually. I manage it because I always find time to read. My focus level varies, but I always have a book or something to read with me.

Some days I do read for hours at a time, especially if it's a good book. But as my life has gotten busier I've gotten into the habit of reading on any down time. That's while traveling, eating lunch, waiting for something or any time I'd probably end up scrolling through social media.

Not that online stuff doesn't count. Books aren't the only way. Blogs, articles, online fanfic and even video games can count as reading. If you think of reading as only one format it can be a lot harder to find time.
