It is OK to take some time off from exercising. But I struggle with this too. It’s a mindset and you just have to push through it and say this is for me. And when I do that, I feel better so that’s what keeps me motivated to keep working out. Sometimes when I’m feeling like that, I call a friend or have my partner kind of help me go for a run or for a walk but definitely it’s a mindset. I hope this helps.

I visualise the type of person that I want to be, and that is someone who exercises regularly and takes care of her body. By doing that I tell myself that I’m getting one step closer to my ideal self.
