How do u manage to exercise even when it is in a break from work/school
Managing to exercise during breaks from work or school can be a game-changer for your routine. Start by scheduling short, focused workouts or stretches during your breaks. Even 10-15 minutes of physical activity can boost your energy and productivity. Consider incorporating movement into your daily rituals, like taking brisk walks or doing quick bodyweight exercises. Consistency is key, so find activities you enjoy and make them a regular part of your day. Remember, every bit of movement counts towards your health goals!
I’m in a fortunate position where I can walk to and from school (40 mins) so I always try do that so I can get some exercise through that and not stress about it at school. If I haven’t walked then in breaks I find stairs and run up and down them, taking each step to get my heart rate up. Or I kick a ball around with friends. On really busy days if I can’t take a break and a walk then I stretch every hour whether that is standing or sitting. Then I go to the gym in the evening if I can. On busy days where I don’t go to the gym I make sure to remind myself that I have not failed the day - I have just focused on getting work tasks done.
