Does having an exercise buddy improve your routine or hinder it?
Having an exercise buddy can significantly improve your routine by providing motivation, accountability, and social interaction. When you work out with someone, you’re more likely to stick to your schedule and push each other to achieve your fitness goals. However, it’s essential to choose a buddy who shares similar goals and commitment levels to prevent potential hindrances. Ultimately, a supportive exercise partnership can enhance your overall experience and help you build lasting healthy habits.
I took break according to my shedule, so i can’t really say about it. But I think it depends on individual and who is your buddy, together you can grow or also hinder each other if you are not foucsed.
I guess it can be motivating. But I am a mom of two kids, we have a dog and a cat, so exercising alone is my way of disconnecting from ecerything. So I prefer to exercise alone, like running doing yoga, but if I go to the gym, I always chose group activities because it is more interesting and motivating. So i think you have to chose what you like and what fits you. Try both ways, with exercise friend and without and yiu ill see.
It just depends on the personalities, individuals goals and the vibe. Trial and error. You may find it easily doing it alone. A friend or a partner can bring out insecurities you’re either ready to address or not. That can either cause a problem in the friendship or you may grow closer.
