Do you recommend exercising on an empty stomach? Why or why not?

Depending on the workout itself. Intensity, duration and what activity being done should determine how much, what or if you eat prior to that specific workout. A small snack of a banana, half of a protein bar, handful of nuts or berries may be sufficient. If going for a ten mile run you may just want to stick to fluids with electrolytes and possibly again something small like dried fruits or other fruit. Hopefully you have planned your day or evening before knowing the workout planned and ate accordingly, especially if you’re an early bird workout person!
