Do you find more laid-back, more relaxed exercise (e.g. yoga) or something of higher intensity (e.g. a jog) more effective at getting you mentally and/or physically prepared for the day?
The effectiveness of exercise can vary greatly from person to person. Laid-back exercises like yoga can enhance mindfulness and flexibility, preparing you mentally for the day. In contrast, higher intensity workouts, such as jogging, can boost your energy levels and improve cardiovascular health. Ultimately, the best approach is to incorporate a mix of both into your routine, creating a balanced ritual that supports both mental and physical well-being. Listen to your body and find what energizes you the most for a productive day.
For me, I love to start the day off with high intensity because then I’m less tired throughout the day and more awake or motivated to do more things. Don’t think you have to do this everyday though because sometimes I just wanna do a relaxed and easy workout!
A high intensity workout makes me feel more energetic. When I do something that makes me sweat and wakes me up I feel the joy
