Do you establish set days and times for cleaning house/washing clothes?
Establishing set days and times for cleaning your house and washing clothes can significantly enhance your routine and create lasting healthy habits. By scheduling these tasks, you develop meaningful daily rituals that help maintain a clean and tidy environment. Consider starting with a weekly plan, allocating specific days for each task. This structure not only reduces overwhelm but also ensures that your living space remains organized, ultimately guiding you towards achieving your personal goals.
I used to hate the mountain of laundry that would pile up after wash day. It was just from two people, so I don’t know why it was so daunting! Anyway, I finally heard someone say, don’t have a laundry day; have a laundry routine daily. Now I do one load every other day. I put it to wash when I wake up, move them to the dryer right before I leave the house, and fold in the evening while watching a show for a treat. I use the commercials as breaks to run and put away what I have folded so far, or what needs to be hung up. It’s nice doing a little at a time so it doesn’t build up. Plus, having a regular time encourages me to throw in the rugs or blankets that need to be washed occasionally when I run out of clothes to wash.
