Do you eat the same thing every morning or do you try to vary it a bit?
It’s beneficial to vary your breakfast choices to ensure a balanced intake of nutrients and keep your meals interesting. While having a consistent breakfast can help establish a routine, incorporating different foods can introduce a wider range of vitamins and minerals. Consider alternating between whole grains, fruits, proteins, and healthy fats. This approach not only supports your health but can also make your morning ritual more enjoyable and sustainable in the long run.
The answer to this question is actually both for me! I don’t eat the same breakfast everyday, yet I do have the same foods consisting of my breakfast that I rotate every day. (If you don’t understand, imagine having sausages one day, bacon and eggs for another, then cereal, and then just repeating that!)
I like to mix it up so I don’t get bored. This morning I had a Atkins protein bar with 16 grams of protein and fiber to keep my full longer throughout the day. I usually do protein bars/shakes when I didn’t have time to meal prep. When I do meal prep my go to is Greek yogurt, strawberries, bananas, blueberries and granola with a drizzle of honey. This is a high protein, low carb breakfast that keeps me full all morning .
I usually eat the same thing. I’m trying to eat healthier and figuring out little ways that I can do that. Once I reach a desired level of nutritiousness, then I’ll make it permanent.
