Do you drink matcha, and if you do, what’s a good matcha recipe?? 🍵🌺
Yes, I enjoy matcha! A simple and healthy matcha recipe is to whisk 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder with hot water (not boiling) until frothy. You can add a splash of milk or a milk alternative for creaminess. For added flavor, consider sweetening it with honey or adding a dash of vanilla extract. Drinking matcha can be a mindful ritual, promoting relaxation and focus. Incorporating this into your daily routine can help you build a consistent habit of self-care.
Yes I LOVE matcha, I always start with 3/4 tea spoon of pure matcha powder put that in a mug and add HOT water till half of the mug is full, then I whisk it with those electric mini mixers for drinks until the top gets foamy. And then as last i add oat milk. Sometimes i add coconut milk instead, that’s also delicious. And if you like your matcha sweater you add like a strawberry syrup. Enjoyy
I started drinking matcha a year ago, in my second year of uni. At first I would just use whole milk and matcha to make an iced matcha. But as time passed I started experimenting with it. My boyfriend and I made iced matcha coffee with added vanilla syrup. Then I started using different type of milks and I think matcha is well complemented by oat milk. We even added cinnamon in our matcha and my boyfriend seems to really like it. I made banana matcha and it was very yummy. I don’t measure the amount of milk and water I add, but my go to recipe is just 1 teaspoon of matcha powder, whisked to get a nice microfoam, add ice into a cup, pour oat milk over it, add maple syrup to your taste, and then pour the matcha on top of it all. Get a straw to mix and enjoy.
