Can I have fruit if I’m having oats for breakfast?
Absolutely! Adding fruit to your oats is a fantastic way to enhance the nutritional value of your breakfast. Fruits provide essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber, which can contribute to a balanced meal. This combination not only makes your breakfast more delicious but also helps you feel fuller for longer, supporting your goal of developing healthy habits. Consider stacking this habit by preparing your oats the night before and adding fresh fruit in the morning for a quick, nutritious start to your day.
Yes, they are both healthy and go well together, try mixing them with yoghurt
Probably, fresh fruit also contains sugar but it tends to metabolize more quickly than that in oats (starches have to be broken down first before your body can use them) and causes a softer spike in blood sugar than does processed sugar. If you’re worried about blood sugar levels it may be best to avoid dried fruit though.
I don’t see why not, fruit and nuts with oats is a very complete meal. Particularly if probiotics are included =)
why not?? I usually have steel cut oats with berries in the morning!
yes! that’s literally some of the yummiest things to ask forrrr 💓
Yes, you can combine the oats with the fruits to give you more nutrients to your body
I do all the time
Yes, I almost always enjoy fruit with my oats.
Yeah, why not, just dont over do it on the nuts. A handful should be enough
I love having oatmeal in the morning with fruit. I like to prepare overnight oats the evening before. Equal parts oatmeal and milk (almond or other works too)! That way it’s ready to go in the morning. Cinnamon, fruit, and nuts are great additions. I have about a cup.. keeps me energized until lunchtime and even then I’m still pretty good so it’s usually a light lunch and maybe green tea.
