You give yourself the gift of self-care: REST. Only you know what’s right for your body, but exercise should make you feel good afterwards. If you’re so ill you can’t work, then you can’t exercise. Maybe you have a cold — take a walk instead of a HIIT workout. Or maybe you’re really ill, and some gentle stretching in bed is what your body needs. Exercise is about health; it’s not about punishment. Be good to yourself.
