Yoga can be an effective practice for weight loss, especially when combined with mindful eating and regular physical activity. It helps build strength, flexibility, and mental focus, which can enhance your overall fitness journey. Since you enjoy yoga and walking, consider creating a routine that incorporates both. Establishing a consistent practice will not only support your weight loss goals but also promote lasting healthy habits and a positive mindset.

Yoga is an excellent practice to build strength, flexibility, and confidence. Walking and dieting will be the most effective for losing weight, but for long term fitness and keeping a healthy lifestyle that will allow you to keep on track with your health goals I would highly recommend yoga. Also, although building muscle doesn’t directly make you lose weight, the more muscle you have, the more calories your body burns, so it’s a good idea for long term weight loss goals especially if you like eating higher calorie foods. Keep in mind that healthy dieting (calories in being less than calories out, while still getting enough nutrients for your body and brain to function well) and aerobic exercise (like walking) will come with the quickest results, but a combination of all three is best for long term weight management.
