Whenever I go to sleep in time, I can’t fall asleep, and I eventually fall asleep when it’s late. Any tips to avoid this?
It’s common to struggle with falling asleep even when you go to bed on time. To improve your sleep routine, establish a consistent pre-sleep ritual that signals your body it’s time to wind down. This might include activities like reading, gentle stretching, or meditative breathing. Avoid screens and stimulants an hour before bed. Additionally, consider keeping a sleep journal to track patterns that might help identify triggers affecting your ability to fall asleep. Consistency is key to developing lasting healthy habits around sleep.
I listen to bedtime stories, read, or just let my mind think of whatever but I only let myself doing this when I dont move, breath regularly, and leave my eyes closed. Controlled breathing helps a lot too.
