What would you do to avoid grabbing your phone once you wake up

Take some deep breaths to ground and gather myself and start my day. Practice some positive affirmations. Drink some water and welcome some sunlight into my eyes.

i like to hide my phone or make it difficult to grab it (ex. putting it on a high shelf) to get me to stop.

Instead, i put a glass or water or my waterbottle where my phone would typically be in the morning, so i’d be more inclined to immediately drink water instead of scrolling on my phone!

I practice gratitude, I do my journaling, meditation and simple somatic poses. I keep to my word , no touching phone till an hour after. I never break my promise. Usually it goes further than hour : )
