What is your favorite time to meditate? What tools do you use? Do you know the difference between mediation and mindfulness?

Fabulous CoachBehavioral Science AssistantRecommended AnswerAI Summary

The best time to meditate varies for each individual; some prefer morning to set a positive tone for the day, while others find evening meditations help unwind. Tools like guided meditations, apps, or simple timers can enhance your practice. Regarding the difference, meditation is a broader practice that can include various techniques, while mindfulness specifically focuses on being present and aware in the moment. Both are valuable for developing lasting healthy habits and enriching your daily rituals.

I like to meditate in the morning after waking up and in the evening before going to bed. It sets the tone for the day and the night. I use the Balance App, however purely as a timer as I use most of the times the session unguided. Meditation is an active act of work, while mindfulness can be intertwined into the day and other activities; being mindful when prepping breakfast or talking to a friend. Meditating is sitting and actively working.
