The best way for me to meditate is by going on a Vipassana retreat. I did a 10 day retreat and it was very intense, yet taught me a lot about myself and how the brain works. I will return to a Vipassana as soon as it’s possible to. Hearing my heart beat from inside my body was incredible.
The best way to meditate for me is to sit alone in my room, with eyes closed and listen to one of the guided meditations here on fabulous. Then I will focus on my breath and on my body.
Put on some Chakra healing music or a shirt guided meditation on, stretch a bit, start breathing process close my eyes and be present, allowing thoughts to escape and go away.
