I think there isn't a general right answer to this. Check and note your commitments and habits during the day (work, exercise, etc…). From there the answer should come out automatically. On working days I wake up at 6am and go to bed at 10:30/11pm. On no-working days I wake up at 8am. I try to keep the same time to go to bed as I find harder to change back if I start to go to bed later, feeling tired in the morning.
