What if you prefer to go to the gym and do a full 30-minute workout in the evening, instead of the morning? Is this okay? I am more of a night owl and not a morning person.

I think it's perfectly fine. As a night owl you probably tend to have more energy at evening anyway. I don't think that's something you can easily change, if at all, as it is related to your circadian rhythm and the genes that contribute to it.
