Staying focused on one book at a time can be challenging, especially with personal books versus library selections. To cultivate this habit, try setting specific reading times in your daily routine, free from distractions. Create a cozy reading space that invites you to engage with your book. Additionally, consider using a reading journal to reflect on your thoughts and insights, which can deepen your connection to the material. By making reading a meaningful ritual, you’ll enhance your focus and enjoyment.

A captivating story is what keeps me focused on one book at a time. I personally enjoy series. It gives me excitement and anticipation to get to the next book but contentment with the book I’m on. It makes it easy to stay present with the book I’m reading and to allow the unfolding of the story and soak it all in when it’s a series I’m into.
