When meditation becomes challenging due to physical discomfort, consider focusing on your breath as an anchor to cultivate presence. Try guided meditations that emphasize body awareness, allowing you to acknowledge pain without judgment. Experiment with different postures or use cushions for support. Visualizations can also be powerful; imagine a serene place that brings you peace. Remember, the goal is to foster a sense of calm and acceptance, helping you develop a meaningful daily ritual that nurtures your well-being.

Sit in a position that causes you minimal pain, you don’t have to sit cross legged with your back straight to meditate, you can lay down if that helps. The other thing is acceptance - let yourself feel the pain without trying to change/reduce it. Let the pain drift through your awareness the same way you would a thought or feeling. Don’t concentrate on it, don’t identify with it, simply let it be there.
