What do you do when your thoughts revolve around not wanting to have thoughts, and you’re caught in a loop?

Start with "5 things around me". Focus on dive things I can see, hear, touch, smell. After a while I am more grounded in the present and I can focus on calming myself down. After that I can also meditate or look out the windows.
