The important thing is getting the exercise in. If doing it in the evening makes you more likely to do it, keep doing it that way. 🙂

If you’re busy in your morning routine and not able to do a workout, maybe trying some simple stretches while doing other tasks can help. For example stretching hamstrings while brushing your teeth, doing some calf raises while your coffee or tea is brewing, something small to help warm the muscles up. Then later in the day when you have more time you could do a more traditional workout.
I think even just small movements is helpful in “breaking of the rust” as it were, and helps the body prep for the day.
