Is it better to exercise in the morning or in the afternoon?

I have found it’s easier to form a habit and commit to exercise if It’s done the same time every day. And for me morning seems to work the best.
I used to think I wasn’t a morning person, however, after 15 straight days of committing to 5 AM work outs at the gym, I have to say I’ve most definitely change my thoughts regarding this. Morning workouts are an amazing way to start the work day!

I think it depends on the situation. For me, morning exercise is to build energy and some encouragement for the rest of the day, while afternoon is more to relieve from stress and excessive work. If I have a very stressful day ahead I would like my morning to be calmer. But it could be not for you and youll be more stressed then you were before.

I think it's better to do both. In the morning you shake the sleep away with something easy and light, for example stretching, and in the afternoon get your hands onto harder workouts, for example weight lifting, push ups etc. If doing both isn't an option, then I'd prefer to exercise in the morning, but start with something easy. An example: first – jumping jacks, stretch, running in place, and after that push ups, squats, plank, crunches etc

I think in the morning, because it helps you get energy to start the day. But as a not morning person I feel it difficult to do some exercises in the morning. I believe it depends on your own preference.

I’m killing two birds with one stone. I’m using an app called D Minder to measure my vitamin D intake from the sun. I go out sometime in the middle of the day for a walk/jog for about 20-40 minutes depending on the weather.

I rather exercising in the morning because I have more time and when I do that, I have energy and motivation for the rest of the day

I think it depends on your schedule. But also depends on how you feel after a workout. If you feel more energetic from it then maybe morning workouts are best.
