Sometimes when I feel restless sharing with my friends helps. However, I do not that often. Lending an ear comes natural to me. But asking for emotional support does not. It feels as if I become a burden when I need help. Do any of you feel this way? How do you cope with this feelings?

It’s completely natural to feel hesitant about seeking emotional support. Remember, asking for help does not make you a burden; it fosters connection and strengthens relationships. To cope with these feelings, try establishing a ritual where you regularly check in with friends, creating a safe space for mutual support. This can help normalize sharing and receiving help. Reflect on your feelings and practice self-compassion. Building this habit can enhance your emotional well-being and strengthen your connections.

I do! A lot of the time. I’m always there to help others but I can’t ask for help myself. At times it can be exhausting too. You can’t pour from an empty cup - remember that! Usually journalling helps me, as well as going for a walk myself to get a bit of breathing space. Taking a nap works too but if you can’t do that you can do meditation.
