I can wake from nightmares and ho back to sleep but I wake alot after nightmares. Like my mind is unsettled and my emotions are still there. That fight or flight panic. Trying to understand or decipher the meanings can take time. Often though when I wake up in the morning I wont remember the full details. Just that I had an unsettling dream.

I would say nightmares are only there because you allow them to be there. There are variety of different ways to go around it but i would say to look at the feeling you are feeling. It is fear and asking the question “why are you afraid?” will be a good start to identify the main root causes. Once you did it, you can tick them off one by one, and you will feel the peace to sleep.

Whenever something doesn’t work out I assume that I need more love. So, I have a good rest and then I do the things that I love and the things that makes me happy. Moreover, I invest in myself because it is a way to love yourself as well. So, I recommend you to write down the things that is bothering and worrying you and then solve it on the spot, your brain can do more than you except. Then, write down how can you love yourself.

Oh yes, I remember when I was having nightmares when I was a little kid my grandfather told me well if you’re having a nightmare, make it a pleasant nightmare. I of course, was like how and my grandmother said the next time, although it was about werewolves the next time the werewolves are chasing you turn around and chase them. See how they like it. The key is once you’re in the nightmare you have to realize you’re having the nightmare and then take control. It’s simple effective and yet not everybody knows how to do it yet so once you’re in the dream nightmare, you’re gonna know you’re gonna have a nightmare. You need to lock that in your mind before you go to bed. If I have a nightmare tonight, I will change it lock it in your brain lock it, and lock it in lock it and lock it and lock it in that’s the best way I can tell you and then why you’re in that nightmare flip the script because it’s your nightmare. It’s your dream. It’s your altered reality within your mind. You can change it. Keep that in your head before you go to bed.

If you’re afraid of sleeping cause of nightmares, you can do something against it to make yourself feel better and safer. The easiest one is to understand how you get nightmares and then try to avoid the causes of nightmares and focus more on what makes you calmer and happier.
