My question for those who’d like to give advice to me (if anybody would): What would you say is the best way to quiet your mind down and have no intrusive thoughts running rampant in your psyche? I’m curious to read some answers 😊.
To quiet your mind and reduce intrusive thoughts, consider establishing a daily ritual of mindfulness meditation. Start with just five minutes a day, focusing on your breath and gently bringing your attention back when distractions arise. Incorporate 'disconnect and unplug' periods into your routine—set aside time to engage in nature, read, or practice deep breathing. Consistency is key; over time, these habits can cultivate a calmer mindset and help you achieve mental clarity.
I mostly use Fabolous' 478 breathing exercise to calm down, sometimes I listen mindfulness podcasts and if they don’t work I write down what I have in my mind and usually cry after that. Crying helps me to regulate my emotions.
