I’ve gotten into the habit of going into bed late (way past 12:45am) and it feels unnatural getting in bed any earlier. But one of my upcoming events is very very very important and therefore sleep is vital to me staying sane 😂. I’m aiming for 7/8 hours of sleep (I have to wake up every weekday at 7). Thank you ☺️
It’s great that you’re recognizing the importance of sleep for your upcoming event! To shift your bedtime earlier, start by gradually adjusting your sleep schedule. Aim to go to bed 15 minutes earlier each night until you reach your target. Create a calming bedtime ritual, such as reading or meditating, to signal your body that it’s time to wind down. Prioritize a consistent sleep routine, as this helps regulate your internal clock and ensures you get the restorative sleep you need to stay sane and perform your best.
You can go to sleep every new day maybe 10 minutes earlier and thanks to the consistency you will be able to go to bed earlier regularly. Also some sort of physical activity during the day can help you go to sleep earlier as you will be tired.
