Yes! I believe that it is possible to read more than one book at a time. I love to read various sources. Currently, I subscribe to around 56 monthly magazines! I love to read various publications: Art, Health, Lifestyle, Cooking, etc. As the saying goes: Variety’s the very spice of life, that gives it all its flavour,” written by William Cowper. I look at as added fun. It is more interesting to read more that one topic/book.

I have done this before, but don’t recommend. It is good if you are learning about a specific object. I have many books that I read at the same time, I myself never managed to keep up with all. I usually focus on one and leave the other. I don’t think it’s a good idea because focusing one thing at a time helps your mind be sharper than balancing from one thing to next.

Before I used to push myself to read one book at a time and I didn’t started another one until I finished the first one. But I ended up not reading at all for many days because I wasn’t in a mood to read that one book I already started. Now I focus on reading in general, so everyday I’m able to choose some book I actually enjoy that day and I don’t have to push myself into it.
