Is it possible to meditate with your eyes open? Is it just as good? I almost feel as though my focus is better when I‘m looking at something.

Well, people’s opinions and perspectives differ. What might work for you might not work for another person.
Based on the question asked, I suggest you try out both for about two weeks. First week, open your eyes, focus on something and meditate. Don’t jump into conclusions yet whether or not it works and then the second week, you try the second method. Close your eyes, play a soothing/calming music and completely avoid distractions.
After the two weeks, you compare how you felt during the first week and then, the second week. Then you pick the one that works best for you.

I really hope this helps 😊.

Yes. It depends on your comfortability. Do whatever makes you comfortable and allows you to practice until you are ready to try other ways of meditation. There are also walking meditations.

If you’re focused on a specific spot it might be better but if there’s anything going on in front of your eyes it’s going to be harder to focus
