Is it okay if disconnecting means reducing social media time, and instead, still using your phone for relaxing purposes, like e books and podcasts?
Yes, it’s perfectly okay to redefine what 'disconnecting' means for you. Reducing social media time can create space for more fulfilling activities, like enjoying e-books and podcasts. The key is to ensure that your phone use aligns with your self-care goals and promotes relaxation rather than stress. By intentionally choosing how you spend your time, you can create meaningful daily rituals that support your overall well-being and help you achieve your goals.
I think so too. Social media often overstimulate me. I found myself feeling even more frustratef or stressed after mindlessly scrolling social media. But if i turn on do not disturb and use my phone to read or write my thoughts here on fabulous, i feel sense of accomplishement.
