I have difficulties not making plans during meditation because I feel like I should take advantage of the clearer mind I get when meditating and use it to do productive stuff lol. Do you have any advice for this?
It’s common to feel the urge to be productive during meditation. However, meditation is a practice meant to cultivate mindfulness and presence. Instead of planning, try to embrace the clarity that arises without judgment. Consider setting a specific time for meditation and a separate time for planning. This way, you can enjoy the benefits of a clear mind while allowing yourself to fully engage in both practices without overlap. Remember, the goal of meditation is to enhance your overall well-being and focus, not just productivity.
Half assing is always worse than full assing. It feels like you’re being more productive, but in actuality, you are neither meditating or fully making plans. Fully commit to what you’re doing at hand and be present for it because then it actually feels like you’ve done something
