You can try different things until one feels right for you but give each one a try for a week before you try the next idea. Ideas: read a book, listening to music, listen to a podcast, go for night walk, play a card game, meditate, try creative writing, draw, do a puzzle, take a night time bath. Really depends if you’re wanting ideas before bedtime or evening activities off the phone in general!

I use that time for intentional winding down to help me fall asleep. I prepare for tomorrow by laying out clothes, prepping my lunch and breakfast, packing my bag. I make myself a cup of herbal tea, usually camomile, passionflower, lavender or a mix of them. I put my pyjamas on and I read for a while and drink my tea. I journal about the day, listing three highlights and writing down any events, feelings, reflections and thoughts that come to mind. When something to do pops into my mind, which it often does, I write to in my to do list notebook for the next day.
