A meditation that focuses simply on breathing does wonders to calm the mind. Some days it may be as simple as Noticing the breath moving past your nostrils and when your mind wanders bring it back … other days it might help to count from 1 to 5 or 1 to 10, other days it may be possible to notice the breath going into the lungs and belly and then even sweep the body for other sensations but always coming back to the simplicity of the breath
