How would I not be tempted or how would I get into the habit of reading a writing before bed instead of going on my phone?

I struggle with that to and what helps me is putting my phone far away from my bed so I'm not tempted also sometimes when it's extra hard I even plan ahead and put a sticky note on my book saying how much I love the book and a affirmation like 'you can do this' so it gives me motivation to start reading :))

Keep your phone in another room at night, or at least outside of arms reach. Also keep your book or writing equipment close to your bed so you can easily reach it.
By creating an encouraging enviroment and by turning the healthy habits into the easier option, i think you will find you will become more motivated to keep them.

I think it’s about pushing yourself, crossing boundaries and doing what it takes to get things done. For example, turn off any distractions on your phone or turn your phone on silent so you can’t hear the notifications so you don’t feel the urge to have a look. And make sure your phone is far away from where you are, you don’t want it distracting you while you get your beauty sleep ✨😊
