How to get yourself to meditate when you are very anxious

Allow yourself space to feel the anxiousness, not trying to resist or run away. Once you have accepted the feeling, you can begin to process it.

When you feel you are able to meditate, focus on your breathing. Acknowledge any thoughts that enter your mind as clouds floating across the sky. Continue to place your attention and awareness on your breathing. This will allow you to meditate.
