Thatβs a great question usually for 10 minutes. And I think that before sleeping and after waking up is a great time to mediate.ππ
I try to meditate twice a day - right after sleep and before I go to bed. Since Iβm a beginner I do 5 minutes of kirtan and then 5-10 minutes of meditation.
I am new to meditation, so I have been trying to make it as easy as possible for myself by meditating for five minutes at the start of my day- that way, time is not an excuse I can use, and I wonβt accidentally forget later. Good luck as you keep on!
I usually try to meditate for a couple of minutes just to clear thought buzzing around my head. Any time you need to think clearly I would say
10 minutes is all it takes, and meditate shortly after exercising. Usually for me it goes... wake up, drink water, exercise, drink water, meditate.
On days I work I will sometimes meditate for a shorter period of time, around 5 to 10 minutes. I do it in the evening. When I am off I will try to do a longer time, 15 to 20 minutes usually. I may do it earlier in the day if I can, usually mid morning. Otherwise it will be in the evening. I think the best time depends on your energy level and ability to focus. I avoid times I am too sleepy.
