How many minutes a day do you stretch?

At least 1-2 minutes when I first wake up. Then around lunch, I get up and stretch for another 1-2 minutes. Then when I leave work for the day, another 1-2 minutes. If it’s a day I’m doing yoga, I stretch for 30-60 minutes when I get home. So an average of 5 minutes every day and 35-65 minutes at least 2-3 times a week.

I have a five-minute routine, I use the 11-minute routine in Fabulous, and I have a 20-minute yoga-based routine. I like all three of these and alternate them. I also have a Pilates-based video that's an hour which I used to love doing and I just thought of it this morning as I did my stretching. Thanks for asking! I'll have to get that off the shelf and do it next week.

Around 10 minutes probably (in the morning). Sometimes a bit less and occasionally more. I also may do another few minutes later in the day. I have a number of physical conditions and stretches that I learned in physical therapy help… so, I do them daily.

I will usually a stretch anytime between 30-60 minutes a day depending on my physical activities during the day and the day before. If I’m sore from a previous work out I will take my time and ease into it and if I am stretching just to work on personal goals I will push my limits and take as much time as I feel necessary.

I take the opportunity to stretch whenever I can, so I would say at least five minutes but cumulatively maybe as much as 15 . I do like a dedicated stretch session because I always feel better afterwards.

I stretching twice a day, once straight after wake up, in bed – it gives me energy to move and make me awake if I’m asleep. Short and eazy, 2-3 minutes.
And I stretch before doing some exercises, to warm up – it takes 10-15 minutes.

It depends on what in stretching. I hold the stretch for at least 30 seconds. I would say the total stretching session lasts anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes.

I stretch approximately three to four times a day from between 1 and 2 minutes. So probably a total of maybe six minutes.

Normally I just stretch for about a minute first thing in the morning! It gets my body moving and wakes me up! If you are stretching to stay flexible for dance, or gymnastics or something, then I would recommend writing down a set of stretches and doing it for about 10 minutes per day.

I stretch about only 5 minutes a day on average. However some days I do yoga with my kids and do quite a bit. Trying to add more in each day. Doing it after I wake up and before I go to bed is helpful.

I've got the timer set for a minute so I generally just go for the minutes. I find, however, that the habit is building and sometimes I just stretch because it's a good time to stretch. I might add it to other times in my schedule but I hope I'll actually add yoga instead, soon.

I never stretch regularly. I only do it when I feel like it, and let’s face otc it’s not that often. However with my new habits I try to do some light streching every morning. I think I will soon incorporate it into my evening routine as I thnk it blows of a lot of stress
