It depends on the type of exercise and how much time you need to rest btw two consecutive sets. It’s not really about the amount of time you spend but how effectively and how much exercise you do. If you are just starting start by doing less amount of each exercise then increase the amount every day until it feels just right, neither too easy nor too difficult.
Remember consistency is the real magic amount of time spent on any of your habits should never cause a problem in your daily routine to be consistent

How much your body is able to do. Each one of us has different levels of energy and needs, so I guess it depends on where you are on your “exercise journey”. If you just started, I recommend not overdoing it, and to exercise for 5-10 minutes, maybe taking a walk or doing some stretches. If you already are used to movement, you can do longer walks, follow some workouts or go to the gym for a “1 hour” session. So, first of all, try listening to your body and see what it needs, what are its actual capabilities, and then choose the physical activity that honors it. Challenge yourself a little bit, but on the right measure, so you don’t overdo it 🤸🏻♂️
