How long does it take to finish reading a book (200-300 pages)? What habits have you maintained to be consistent?
The time it takes to finish reading a 200-300 page book varies by individual and reading speed. On average, it can take anywhere from 5 to 10 hours. To maintain consistency, consider setting aside dedicated daily reading time, such as 20-30 minutes before bed or during breaks. Establishing a reading ritual can help you stay committed. Additionally, tracking your progress and joining a reading group can enhance motivation and accountability, fostering a lasting reading habit.
I divide the total numbers of pages by the numbers of days I wish to Finnish the book .. then I try to make sure I complete the pages allocated for each day ... It’s called Divide and conquer in problem solving
Personally, I find myself to seek a book that better suits my interests. And that’s better than just picking up a random book and reading it. Having something that aligns with your interest can do a lot. When that happens, a habit I would pick is to read it bit by bit in 10 minutes or so. If you’re able to slowly get yourself to read im a good calm environment. Then that increases overtime. You don’t automatically get through something overnight, takes steping stones.
I read daily before bed, if its a free day woukd finsih it in an hour, but kn a daily basis woukd finish it in a week or 2.
