How long do you meditate for? What do you think about when meditating?
Meditation duration can vary greatly based on personal preference and experience. Beginners might start with just 5-10 minutes, while seasoned practitioners may meditate for 30 minutes or more. It’s essential to find a length that feels comfortable for you. As for thoughts during meditation, it’s normal for your mind to wander. Focus on your breath or a mantra to gently bring your attention back. The goal is not to suppress thoughts but to observe them without judgment, fostering mindfulness and presence.
My morning routine meditation is 12 min but I do 1- min to hour or more depending on how I feel I think about nothing sometimes and sometimes everything my focus is to be mindful and positive at the end of my meditation I use meditation to ground myself it’s a quick self awareness meditation technique to help calm myself in a stressful situations or trauma bound thoughts i don’t want to have in my mind at that moment it protects me when I’m not feeling well enough to be in a moment (1 min grounding meditation for quick grounding)
