Once I arrive to work, I make sure to review all my emails. So quick answers when I can, respond to ppl who need something that I may not be able to get done right away, and flag/create tasks for what I need to do that day.
Then I’ll clean the papers off my desk, so I can see a clean place to work.
I’ll gather up my fluids and any snacks I may want, healthy ones of course!
I’ve found the best way to focus on a difficult task is to use headphones that block outside noise. Put on some good tunes and rock the deep work!
