How do you manage to fall asleep quickly? It usually takes me more than an hour of laying down with my eyes closed to actually fall asleep.

Usually within 10-15mins. I’ve tried to “train” my body to recognize when I’m ready to fall asleep by using an aroma diffuser, and sleep sounds (usually some type of classical music). If I’m not already sleepy, I usually read until I am- which is about 5-10mins, or a chapter.
