I also can solely workout at the gym and I usually try to go every day, or at least 4 times a week depending on how busy the week is because I don’t always have time to go. But making time for it is easy for me, the problem for consistency is mostly procrastination. I usually feel like avoiding the gym when I feel like it’s to hard and overwhelming, so it’s best to start of easy or at a difficulty you feel comfortable with. And then every 3 weeks I up the intensity gradually until I reach a certain goal I might’ve made or maybe never to so haw far I can push my limits. This might vary between exercises. So in short, try to go as much as you can to the gym and most importantly, start of at your own pace and increase intensity at your own pace as well, because working out shouldn’t feel like a chore. If it does, you’re most likely to become inconsistent and avoid going to the gym.
