Returning to your breath (or to a focal point if your eyes are open) is the point of meditation. You are returning to yourself! Once I realized this, I stopped chastising myself for the distractions and returned my focus with gratitude, which made my sessions last longer and be more beneficial. This world is crazy and you are taking action to make it less crazy for you. That’s special and important. Keep up the great work!
